Buyer's Guide to INFINITI Hoses and Clamps

Types of INFINITI Hoses

One part that relies on hoses the most is your engine. It depends on hoses to route coolant from the radiator to help maintain an ideal running temperature; it also relies on hoses to direct fuel from the fuel tank to the combustion chamber.

Your heater core uses hoses to send hot coolant through the HVAC system to warm you on a cold morning, while brake hoses send hydraulic brake fluid from the master brake cylinder to your brakes.

Types of INFINITI Clamps

Clamps are used to tighten hoses to the flanges. Without them, the pressure of the fluids running through could blow the hoses completely off, leading to pricy and damaging leaks.

The most common type of clamp is a spring clamp, or constant-tension clamp as some call it. They're made of a flexible metal that's installed by pulling two tabs toward each other to open the clamp. Once it's in place, just release the tabs to close the clamp. A worm, or screw-type, clamp installs by sliding metal bands onto the hose and then tightening a screw to seal the hose.

Why You Should Buy Genuine INFINITI Hoses and Clamps Online

When you do need to replace a failing hose or clamp, insist on using the best for your premium vehicle. That means shopping for the ones made by your manufacturer, since they come with a guaranteed compatibility that can't be matched.
