INFINITI Headlights FAQs

How Can I Use My INFINITI Headlights?

You use the low beam setting for everyday driving when it's raining or dark out. If nobody else is on the road with you and you need a brighter, wider illumination, you can switch to the high beams. You can also use headlights as hazard lights, or flashers, to warn other drivers of dangers ahead or that you're in distress and need assistance.

What Types of INFINITI Headlights Are There?

Halogen were once the most type of automotive headlight by far, but today's INFINITI models are much likelier to feature either xenon high-intensity-discharge (HID) or LED lights. HID lights are best for smaller coupes like the Q60 since they slot right into the narrow housings, while LED lights are ideal due to their energy-efficient nature.

When Do I Need to Replace My Headlights?

Barring any unforeseen catastrophes, you should need to replace halogen lights every two years or so. HID bulbs can last up to three years on average, while the LED kind only need replacing when either their electronics fail or they otherwise burn out.
